Jacobs foundation
The Jacobs Foundation is active worldwide in the field of child and youth development. Klaus J. Jacobs, its founder, believed when all children have the opportunity to receive a quality education our society will become successful and sustainable.
The foundation supports research, programs and activities that promise answers to how the life and learning trajectories of young people can be optimally shaped for successful participation in society. Within several ambitious goals, it aims to reach ten percent of all schools worldwide with its research findings around education. That’s five million schools!
It is a privilege to be involved in this immense task. We have been the lead agency responsible for the planning and implementing social media, website and mailings since summer 2020. We produce podcasts, explainer videos, interviews, infographics and other content on behalf of the Foundation for global distribution.

Report and communication text
Côte d’Ivoire, the world’s largest cocoa producer, faces widespread poverty and low literacy among its farmers. Only one-third of Ivorian children receive ten or more years of education, with many dropping out earlier. The Jacobs Foundation collaborated with public and private sectors to improve education for cocoa farming communities through the TRECC program, now called the Child Learning and Education Facility (CLEF). We helped draft and edit the final TRECC report, as well as providing strategic, blog, and social media activities for both TRECC and CLEF.

Prize communication coordination
The Jacobs Foundation endowed one of two awards in a given year. The Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize recognises exceptional researchers whose work significantly advances children's learning, development, and living conditions. In the alternative year, the Klaus J. Jacobs Best Practice Prize recognises innovators addressing major educational challenges. Prize communication included multilingual website text and updates, social media coverage before, during and after the announcement, interviews with recipients and article coverage.
